Karsten started climbing in 2000 in the Red River
Gorge of Kentucky. His determination to be the
best climbing guide he could be started shortly after this with him
pursuing AMGA certification. After nine years Karsten has become
only the second AMGA Certified Rock Guide in the Southeastern
U.S.
Karsten has climbed and guided in many areas across the United States
including: Red Rocks, NV; Eastern Sierra, CA;Joshua Tree, CA; andNorth Conway,
NH.
In addition to being an AMGA Certified Rock Guide; Karsten is also aLeave No Trace Masters Educator and a Wilderness EMT. He has
completed his AMGA Alpine Guides Course, AMGA Ice Instructor course,
AIRIE level 1 and 2 Avalanche courses and has his Swift Water Rescue
certification through the ACA.
Karsten is also in the Instructor pool for the AMGA Single Pitch
Instructor program as well as the Climbing
WallInstructor
Program.
In his spare time Karsten gives back to
the community by volunteering for the Brevard Rescue
Team.

Since
beginning climbing
at a university gym in 2000, Lindsay has been following her passion:
climbing. Whether inside or out, sport, trad, or donning a crash
pad, Lindsay has traversed the U.S and abroad in search of new,
inspiring areas to climb. Sharing this thrilling experience with
others is a huge part of Lindsay's draw to the sport. Well-versed
in indoor instruction and coaching all ages and disciplines,
she loves to work with any and everyone. In 2004,
Lindsay transitioned to include outdoor instruction as well and has
been pursing a guiding career ever since. Lindsay specializes in
women's climbing programs and climbing instruction for women.
Lindsay is a certified AMGA Single Pitch
Instructor, a Wilderness First Responder, and an AMGA Climbing Wall
Instructor Provider. She anticipates taking her AMGA Rock
Instructor Course in May of 2009.
